i've always been a fan of your site for a long time, i couldve sworn there was a page full of maplestory screenshots around here, i really enjoyed those.
Idea of a perfect being is interesting, but it isn't realistic or sustainable in any way
To be human, is to overcome suffering, but just like any challenge there are multiple ways to solve it. Some are better than the others.
Yea you could hide behind things to give you a false sense of acceptance/confidence, or you could foremost try and harvest it from within for yourself and use that as the center for all of the decision making you do
This theory about perfect beings also goes to ignore various human feelings that will push one out to venture forward into unknown. The most basic one, is simply looking up at the starts at night and realizing that theres the whole world out there and you are just a small part in it. You could be the most well taken care of perfect being, but I highly doubt it would be possible to neuter human beings so much that any feeling of wonder/discovery won't spark any creativity to pull them out of a hedonistic cycle
All of these theories even forget the most basic thing. Why do "perfect people" partake so much in video essays and video games? It is definitely not because its fun, they try to create value for themselves by having "important opinions" or agreeing with them, and by being good at games in their circle, try and derive some kind of personality from that. Its an epidemic of pain and suffering.
I believe a human being fundamentally wants to create and do things. We are active beings. Its just that modern life makes things seem way too complicated and more unreachable than they truly are, thus paralyzing many from even trying due to anxiety. Think of it as a funnel, the more complicated things are, the more people get filtered out. Thats really how it is for many gamers, many even forget why they are playing games in the first place, it just became the thing they do since they have nothing else. Its quite rare to find a person who actually simply finds games fulfilling and fun, and isn't doing it for those other degenerate reasons or in a degenerate way.
And sure you could say - if parents were to bring up and fully accept and love their kid for whatever things the kid decideds to do, theres 0 shame and only pure love the whole time. Maybe they would feel healthier overall. But its such a huge reach that the kid will never ever have a shred of curiousity on how things work, why they are the way they are etc. Damn even the simplest thing little kids ask - why is the sky blue? - Common, simple question that kids ask and it shows that a "perfect being" that simply sits in comfort and exists, sounds more like a monkey in a zoo than a human being
Love and acceptance are great things, they shouldn't come from anxiety and people pleasing. It should start from within. If you can accept yourself, then you'll realize that not everything thats not 100% positive and supportive, is supposed to critique you and bring you down. If anything critique from friends can be an act of love. But if our internals are weak, if we doubt yourselves, then anything anyone says can be taken as a attack on us, cause stress/anxiety/shame etc.
If you want to create the perfect world, you have to spread the love and acceptance. But you can only spread whats within you. So for that purpose, we have to accept and love ourselves. With all the flaws, with all the trauma, all of it
In a way it creates comradery of sorts. If I accept myself, and you accept yourself. We both just went through the trial of acceptance. Its tough, but a warm idea to think about at least
